Thanks Todd for the info. I had dug into the Radio Shack stuff and my concern is the Amperage these max out at. One is 1Amp and the other was 1.5 Amp's..this was the max they are rated at.. In comparison I found a GTB internal BEC is 5 AMPS. I'm not sure if this will be an issue or not ? Since the Tekin lipo wired right into the switch is working I'm just going to have (2) 1S lipo's in the WGT cars and not have to worry about this.

Yeah, I'm not sure, either. I know for me, I'm "thinking" that the pan cars won't draw that much to create a problem (I hope).

I also know that, at least was the case this season in the BRL, we were not allowed to use the Tekin's BEC to step down the voltage. That may open up in the future, though. (there was concern about the higher voltage getting into the speedo circuitry creating an advantage. Obviously it wouldn't do it normally, but could be disguised. For simplicity of the rules, we were told "NO"
